Service Opportunities
If you are aware of any areas of service that 12:01 Ministries could be involved in please let Bro Josh know. We are working diligently to find areas where our young people can minister to our church family as well as the surrounding community!
What's in a name?
12:01 Ministries receives it's name from the scripture of Romans 12:1. In this passage Paul urges the people of God, because of all God has done for them, to present their lives wholly and fully over to God to be used for His purposes.
Paul, through the inspiration of God, urges us all to present our bodies to God as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto God. This is an extremely tall order for any child of God. For any person to die to who they are to become holy and in the image of God is not an easy task, but Paul goes on to say that this is our reasonable service. Dying to self is the first step in living for Christ, serving Him. It is our reasonable service!
With that in mind we have adopted this verse as our creed. Our goal is to change the world through the lives we live, lives placed in the hands of God. We believe that if all of God's people will accept this command of God to live solely for His will, a wonderful transformation will occur. We will lead the charge, we will live out God's purposes for our lives, we will further His kingdom. It's 12:01, a new day is approaching.
